Camera Phone Dump

I got the new HTC Evo phone, and let me tell you, I love it!  The screen size is huge and it runs so fast.  Its so much better than an iphone.  And the camera on the phone is pretty awesome; 8 megapixles and there are fun settings on it.  Of course my favorite subject is Weasley and I was playing around with the different settings.  Here are a bunch of Weasley pics:

Classic black and white pic

I like how he looks like a confused rabbit

Cool camera setting, I think its called solarize

This is the negative setting.  He looks so freaky!

Classic sepia setting.  That's his suprised face.

Maryland vs Navy!!! Fear the Turtle

Besides our anniversary over Labor Day Weekend, we also went to the Maryland/Navy football game.  I went to Maryland and Jimney's Dad was in the Navy, so I thought it would be fun to invite him and Jimney's little sister.  The game was held at Raven's stadium and I got baller club level seats.  It was a beautiful day and Maryland won!  I was the only one out of our foursome that was happy about that.

Look at how good our seats are!

Jimney and his family.  Sooo cute!

Zoology

Jimney Cricket and I celebrated our one year anniversary over Labor Day Weekend!  I can't believe its already been a year.  It still feels like we just started dating.  Everyday I learn something new about him and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I see him.  As I wrote to him, "I love you with all I am and all I ever hope to be.

To celebrate our anniversay, we kept it low-key and enjoyed the Holiday weekend by going to the National Zoo.  I haven't been there in years, and Jimney said he's never been, so we had to go visit.

Of course I had to take pictures of the world famous Pandas.  Not sure which one this is, but too cute!

I like the focus on the flowers and the panda blurry in the background.

Now the Panda is in focus and the flowers are blurry.

This was in the inverterbrate house. I really liked how you could see the tentalces moving in the water.

Jellyfish fascinate me.  I again, also liked capturing their motion in the water.

And of course a zoo trip would not be complete without visiting the Big Cats!

Banana Bread

Yay, finally found my camera cord!  Last week I made homemade banana bread.  I tried a new recipie and it came out quite nicely.

The mise en place.

After creaming the butter and sugar.

With the mashed bananas added.

With the flour added in.

Yummy!  Warm, delicious and moist banana bread!

Oldie But Goodie

I can't seem to find my camera cord, so cannot currently upload the pictures I have taken recently.  I did finally get an external hard drive and finally transferred all my old pics off my desktop onto it.  My desktop is from college and I'm looking to eventually get rid of it and upgrade to a macbook, and obviously don't want to lose all the pictures I have ever taken.  I was going through some of them and came across a few shots I took when the Boo and I went to the Art Museum.  So here they are:

There was this cool hallway that had these lights that changed randomly.
